The Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society (and by extension the Oakland History Center) is an independent, non-profit, volunteer organization. We are dedicated to preserving Oakland County’s heritage and to maintaining Pine Grove as a registered national and state historic site. We are not supported by tax dollars or any municipality, relying on program fees, membership dues, grants, and support from businesses and citizens for support.
