Others are fascinating personalities like Elizabeth Denison Forth, the first black woman property owner in 1825, or Jacob “Little Jake” Seligman, an immigrant who arrived alone in Pontiac at seventeen in 1860, and soon became the leading clothier in Pontiac. We all receive calendars for free, but purchasing this one will help support your Society.
