Findagrave memorial

Description

Alonzo Mather was born in Vermont and relocated to Michigan sometime before 1837. He played a role in Whig conventions and Wayne County politics in the 1830s and 1840s. Mather was descended from the same Mather family who played a role in Massachusetts politics in the 1700s.

His monument is displaced from its base.
