Description
Ezra Rood was an early Oakland County landowner, purchasing land in Bloomfield Township in 1823. He was also a tailor in Pontiac. Ezra was a founding member of the Oakland County Agricultural Society.
The monument is an obelisk that has fallen off its die. Betsey Conant Rood is also listed on the monument.
