Description
James Bangs was a miller who owned a part share in the White Rose Flour Mill in Pontiac. He died under “mysterious” circumstances. He died at home with no indication of how he died. His death was questioned as a suicide since he had recently sold his house and taken out two insurance policies which allowed suicide. In an inquest by jury, his death was found to be an act of God.
