Sunday, October 10th – 1:00 – 4:00 PM: Lakeview Cemetery Walk Tombstone Tales The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Sashabaw Plains Chapter, is hosting a cemetery walk at the historic Lakeview Cemetery in Clarkston. Funds go toward restoration of the historic gravestones, which they’ve made amazing progress on this year. Check out the flyer below for details. Join us this Sunday, October 10th at 1:00 pm for a brief ceremony dedicating a new Veterans Memorial Garden at our History Center. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Lydia Barnes Potter Chapter, have done amazing work transforming a neglected and overgrown area into a new memorial garden. It is located at the rear of the 1865 one-room schoolhouse on our campus.
