We’ll be learning about the Northern Oakland County Branch NAACP and their history as they approach one hundred years, with Branch President Stephanie Spears Boothe speaking with us at the Historical Society October 9th. She will be sharing perspectives on this local branch and the African American experience in northern Oakland County through the generations. All are welcome and encouraged to share their perspectives and ask questions. Admission is free and there is ample, free onsite parking. Refreshments available for purchase.
