Stephen B. McCracken was one of six brothers. He founded and ran a newspaper in Ann Arbor for many years. 
 
Stephen’s headstone is prone in front of its base and is one of four monuments which can be adopted singly or as a group. Stephen’s monument can be adopted by donating up to $382.00 for its repair, leveling and cleaning.

Description

S. B. McCracken was a printer and newspaperman who founded and ran a newspaper in Ann Arbor, the Washtenaw Whig, for many years.
 
He also served in local government positions there. 
 
Mr. McCracken’s tombstone is one of four monuments on the McCracken family lot which need repair.
 
His monument is broken near the base and laying prone.
 
The entire McCracken lot – all four monuments – can be adopted as a group. All four will be repaired, leveled, and cleaned for $1,490.00.
