It’s almost that time again! Join us the last weekend in July for a local history blowout! There’ll be fun for the whole family, local history presenters, mansion tours (with some brand new displays), silent auctions, flea markets, food trucks and of course, ice cream! At our annual meeting in May of 2025, the society’s board and membership voted to change the name of the “Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society” to “Oakland County Historical Society”. We also voted to amend our bylaws to reflect the change. We made the decision to change the name for a couple of reasons, first and foremost that the new name reflects our mission more fully than the old
