Description
According to Thomas Sheldon, John McCracken Jr. was the son of Robert “Old Bob the Poet” McCracken. John was a “refined, pale-faced young man (who) worked as a compositor in the office of the Oakland Gazette”.
John’s monument is broken and laying prone in front of its base.
