Why does Oak Hill need outside support?
The cemetery is a city owned property and it is mowed and landscaped under a contract by Pontiac’s municipal government. This contracted amount doesn’t support privately owned structures like mausoleums, monuments, headstones, or other structures. Aside from the Petrie Mausoleum, any endowed funds have been depleted.
Your donation to Oak Hill is directly used to support new projects and maintain and repair monuments and gravestones. A portion may be used to host our annual cemetery walk, our biggest fundraising activity. Please make a donation or sponsorship today to support us!
